Generally speaking, a skylight frame can be installed on any type of roofing material. However, there are some special considerations to consider when installing a skylight on a roof. Choose a skylight mounted on a curb for roofs with a lower slope (those with a slope between 0 and 60 degrees) and a skylight mounted on the roof for roofs with a higher slope (those with a slope between 14 and 85 degrees).
If you have a tile roof, it will take longer to install than if you only have a flat roof or a metal roof.
